Annual Partner Mt Capra NTA

We’re thrilled to introduce one of our Annual PartnersMt. Capra, a leader in the goat milk product industry. Mt. Capra has been sustainably and ethically managing their goat dairy production for over 90 years in the Pacific Northwest. The goat milk is minimally and gently processed into an easy-to-use form on-site, making nutrient-dense supplementation accessible for all. The process they use, called Refractance, is explained in transparent detail on their website. It is a low-heat dehydrating process that protects the dairy nutrients and viability.

Prior to processing the dairy, the grass-fed, pesticide-free, and chemical-free goats are ethically raised on luscious green pastures 365 days per year. Mt. Capra is committed to quality and excellence in their products and that’s one of the many reasons why we are proud to call them one of our Annual Partners.

Why goat milk vs. cow milk? Dr. Thomas Cooke lists some of the incredible benefits in this article:

Annual Partner Feature Corner Post Meats

We’re thrilled to introduce one of our Annual PartnersCorner Post Meats! Corner Post Meats (CPM), founded by Dan Lorenz and Adrienne Larrew, practice conservation farming on land owned by the Audubon Rockies. The Audubon Rockies is a non-profit organization centered in Colorado providing conservation for grassland birds. They believe that, “What’s good for the bird is good for the herd!” The Audubon Rockies works with private landowners and ranchers in order to preserve our prairie ecosystem. The idea is that by protecting the habitats for birds, it will naturally culture the same conservation for our livestock.

CPM is on a mission to reconnect our communities with the sourcing of our food. They host events on the farm including delicious, pasture to table meals. They believe that “If everyone votes with their dollar” it will shift our agricultural processes for the future and preserve our ecosystems.

Did we mention that CPM ships directly to your door? Check out their online store! The bacon is a must-have.

CPM will be joining us at our Annual Conference, Roots in Portland, OR, March 1-3 and will be sponsoring some of the conference meals. If you’re wanting to enjoy some of the most delicious and nutritious meats and meet them in person, purchase your conference ticket today!

Featuring Our Annual Partner Epic Provisions Creators Of The Grass Fed Performance Bars

We’re thrilled to introduce one of our Annual PartnersEPIC Provisions, creators of the grass-fed performance bar! Founders Taylor Collins and Katie Forrest formulated the first EPIC bar after discovering that their vegetarian/vegan diet was not cutting it for their active lifestyle.

Walk through the performance bar section at your local grocery store and you’ll find the propaganda that we’ve subscribed to for far too long. “Low-Fat”, “Soy-Protein”, “High-Carb”, not to mention the hundreds of other GMO and processed ingredients that cause gastrointestinal issues and slow down productivity. Taylor and Katie set out on a journey to create the most “humane, pasture centered, and most importantly, delicious” performance bar.

Their mission is to alter global food industry practices through better quality, sourcing, and transparency of the foods they produce. Along with creating delicious products that incorporate as much of each animal used as possible, EPIC’s products help employ agricultural practices that improve the lives of animals, support human health, and regenerate the land around us.

You can find EPIC bars in your local Whole Foods, Thrive Market, Target, Walmart, Amazon, and several other grocery stores.

EPIC Provisions will be joining us at our Annual Conference, Roots in Portland, OR, March 1-3 you may find some of their goodies in your swag bag. Purchase your ticket today!
