The Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) offers a partial scholarship opportunity through the Jennifer Pecot Scholarship Fund, awarded to students interested in enrolling in either the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner or Nutritional Therapy Consultant courses.
We are honored to offer this scholarship in memory of Jennifer Pecot, who we unexpectedly lost in 2017. She was an amazing instructor who inspired and educated many members of our community. To carry on her legacy, this scholarship is dedicated to supporting students who are aligned with our mission of redefining health by nourishing, educating, and connecting individuals and communities. The scholarship prize awarded will be $2500 for the program of your choice: $2500 for the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program OR $2500 for the Nutritional Therapy Consultant program.
September 17th : Scholarship application opens.
October 25th: Deadline to turn in completed scholarship application. Applications must be received by 5pm PST to be considered.
November 8th: Recipients will be selected and notified.
December 13th: Recipients must have the remainder of tuition paid in full in order to be registered. Those who do not have their tuition paid by December 13th will forfeit their scholarship and it will be awarded to another applicant.
The application process includes an online form to complete and a video submission. Please note that you will not be able to submit your application without a link to your video essay. The scholarship committee will consider need as a component, but attitude and passion are the most important attributes we take into account. We want to know what problem you are dedicated to solving and what lights you up. Please let your creativity shine through in your video! Your video should be a maximum of two minutes answering this question:
What actions are you currently taking and what do you plan to do after gaining your certification to participate in the global paradigm shift toward sustainable food, holistic healing, balanced lifestyles, and authentic community relationships?
Through generous donations from alumni and friends, the Jennifer Pecot Scholarship Fund has afforded many students the opportunity to complete the NTC or NTP class who otherwise wouldn’t have.

Make tuition more affordable by spreading out payments for tuition and fees over time. Our new tuition payment plan breaks down your tuition into five affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, low finance charges and it’s easy to enroll! Simply select the payment plan option in the course registration packet. You will be charged the applicable finance charge at the time of enrollment to secure your spot in class. The full cost of tuition will be automatically charged in five equal payments the 1st of each month for five subsequent months after you enroll
Payment plan installments can be made via credit or debit card only.

In addition to the finance charge, tuition is divided into five monthly installments, due each month for the five months following enrollement in the plan.

Financing for the U.S. classes is available through Harborstone Credit Union.
In order to apply for a loan to finance one of the NTA training programs, you will need to follow the appropriate directions below. The loan is available to all U.S. residents regardless of state.
Download the Harborstone Credit Union Application and Authorization for Disclosure PDFs and complete both forms. You will also need to provide proof of income with year-to-date (YTD) earnings or at least 90 days of income. Complete the application and disclosure form, along with proof of income and send that to Johna LaRue at Johna.LaRue@Harborstone.com.

Applications are not complete unless you have submitted all three pieces of documentation to Johna LaRue at Johna.LaRue@Harborstone.com She may only begin processing your application after ALL documents have been submitted.

FINANCING THROUGH YOUR OWN BANK//CREDIT UNION
Another option is to pursue a personal loan through your own financial institution. All funds must be received by the NTA before you can be registered and reserve a spot in class.
Please note that if you are an international student, your tuition does need to be in USD, so your bank will need to do the conversion for you. Any conversion/transaction fees are not the responsibility of the NTA.

Currently, we are not working directly with any specific financial institutions in Canada. Personal loans through your own financial institution are accepted.
