Probiotic Coconut Kefir
FROM THE KITCHEN OF BEV HARTSFIELD, NTP
Here is a yummy recipe from Portland NTP, Bev Hartsfield.
Yeild: 1 serving
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 oz kefir
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 2-3 oz of coconut milk or coconut cream
- 1 tablespoon Mt Capra Mineral Whey
- 1 oz Body Ecology’s Wholegrain liquid
- 1 teaspoon lecithin
- stevia liquid, to taste
METHOD:
Mix all ingredients together in a glass, add stevia to sweeten, and have with breakfast. I drink it as a snack throughout the day as well. It is great before a workout, and you can add fiber if you like. (Bev’s personal fiber favorite? Coconut, of course!)
