Inspire The Next Generation of NTPs & NTCs: Become A Group Leader
“The best part about being a group leader is paying it forward. Being able to support the future NTPs/NTCs and help them though a challenging (yet highly rewarding!) 9 months is an awesome opportunity. My group leaders made such an impression on me when I took the NTP program in Portland. It was great to be able to be a support staff for another class, and work with an excellent instructor team!”
―Dana Nardi, NTP, Portland 2015 Group Leader
INSPIRE THE NEXT GENERATION OF NTPS AND NTCS: WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR GROUP LEADERS FOR SEPTEMBER START CLASSES!
There is no better way to learn than to teach, and being a Group Leader (GL) provides ample opportunities to learn, teach, and refine one’s knowledge and skills. Group Leaders have an opportunity to review the curriculum in the NTA’s online learning platform and brush up skills in the workshop weekends, plus help support the students as they go through their program. We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support of our Group Leaders!
We aim to have one Group Leader for every two students. As the number and size of our classes grows, we need the support of wonderful graduates like you! If you are interested in helping other students be successful and deepening your knowledge, we encourage you to apply to be a Group Leader.
ROLE OF A GROUP LEADER
To receive all Group Leader benefits, Group Leaders must:
- Attend all workshop weekends (3 for NTP only)

Optional (but greatly appreciated):
- Help answer questions on the forums
- Attend the Q&A video calls
- Bring a massage table and/or yoga mat to the workshop weekends (NTP)

“Group Leaders play an integral role in the students’ experience during the program. I know I was so grateful for the Group Leaders I had when I was a student, so it’s super rewarding to now be a Group Leader myself and to be able give back in that way.” ―Jessica Pantermuehl, NTP, Los Angeles 2017 Group Leader

“Being a group leader has enhanced my skills as an NTP, as you are constantly learning. The enjoyment that I got working with new students and to see them develop into NTPs is priceless.” ―Yasmin Khan, NTP, Los Angeles 2017 Group Leader
The more group leaders we have, the better experience the students have. If this sounds like it would be a valuable experience for you, we strongly encourage you to apply and spread the word to graduates who you think would be a good fit.
We are deeply grateful to those who have already participated as group leaders and encourage you to apply again.
We can’t wait to see you at the workshops!
