Continuing Education Credits

Part of the requirements for maintaining the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner™ (NTP) and Nutritional Therapy Consultant™ (NTC) certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association, Inc.® is that every two years, you are required to turn in 24 continuing education units (CEUs).

To qualify, CEUs must have been earned in the 30 months preceding their re-certification date. For example, an NTP or NTC graduated in June 2014.  In order to re-certify in June 2016 they may use CEUs from January 2014 through June 2016.

Each NTP or NTC has a minimum requirement of 24 CEUs, only 12 of which must be directly related to nutrition. See the CEU FAQ document for full details.
